Liffey Partnership - formerly Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership
The Liffey Partnership (formerly known as the Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership) offers a range of supports and courses for parents of babies and young children. They include;
- Antenatal parenting courses (pre-birth)
- Baby massage (up to six months)
- Parenting up to six months programme
- PEEP group – supporting you and your child through play (4 months to 4 years)
- Get Support at Home (15 months to 2.5 years)
- Helping your child to read, Storytime Project (five-week programme)
- Understanding your child – circle of security (eight-week programme)
Liffey Partnership also support parents by linking them with local organisations who run parenting workshops, either online or in-person. They run workshops on topics such as:
- Art, sensory and story time
- Baby weaning
- Sleep
- Infant first aid
- Baby physio
- Transition from early years to primary school
They also run Parents Plus Programme across three age groups - 1-6 years; 6-12 years; and 12-18 years. These courses are about supporting parents to stay in tune with their child or young person's needs.
