Childhood Development Initiative (CDI) - Tallaght
The Childhood Development Initiative (CDI) is one of 12 Area Based Childhood (ABC) programmes in Ireland. CDI is part of a national Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Programme funded by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY).
It has prepared Support Pathways for Children with Additional Needs which is a comprehensive overview of services available for parents and carers who have children with additional needs.
CDI runs the following programmes:
- Literacy
- Oral Language
- Parenting
- Youth Mental Health
- Restorative Practices
